• Dimensions: 19 1/2'H x 25 3/8'W x 12 1/4'D (letter size) or 16 1/4' (legal size)
• Letter or legal size sorters have ten shelves with 12 openings
• Letter depth (12 1/4') mail sorter weighs 70 lbs. whereas legal depth (16 1/4') mail sorter weighs 80 lbs. (note open back mail sorter may weigh slightly less)
• Tabletop mail sorter shell and vertical dividers are made of 3/4' 45-50 lb. substrate (particle board) with thermally fused finish and matching or complimentary 3/8' PVC on exposed edges
• Steel shelves have a 90 degree 1/2' lip label area with center cut out
• Letter and legal size modules include one shelf (adjustable in 1' increments) for every three inches providing 2 1/2' clearance between shelves
• Internal mail sorter housing hardware to hold shelves in place generally referred to as standards are painted black
• Open back mail organizers have a 1/2' label area on the front and back of each shelf
• Mail sorters can be stacked with a module of equal width and depth (indicate which modules will be stacked at time of order and factory will pre-drill and provide screws to assist in secure stacking)
• Depth can be purchased in letter size (12 1/4') or legal size (16 1/4') which allows for a net opening for letter sort modules of 11 1/4'W x 11 1/4'D or legal sorters of 11 1/4'W x 15 1/4'
• Mail sorter label holders are offered as an option and the quantity provided is equal to the number of openings the unit has

• Allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery

Mail Sorter Overall Depth

(STANDARD) 12 1/4' (Letter Size) depth is suitable for most customer applications

(+$20.00) 16 1/4' (Legal Size) depth is for clients who desire additional storage space

Mail Sorter Type

(STANDARD) Closed back mail sorters are open on one side of the unit for document distribution and closed on the other side. This is the most common type of mail organizer in the marketplace.

(NO EXTRA COST) Open back mail sorters are open on both sides for document distribution. Pocket opening identification can be done on either or both sides of the organizer. Often, open back mail sorters are recessed into a wall by end users.

Label Holder Option

(+$12.00) Label holders allow the end user to identify each pocket opening. When this option is selected you will be supplied with the appropriate amount of clear plastic label holders with double sided tape and cardboard inserts for personalized market for each pocket opening.

Finish for Sorter Shelves

(STANDARD) Finishes for mail sorter shelves are available in fifteen powder coat paints. The paint is high quality, solvent free, and endorsed by the EPA. All of the paint finishes cost the same for the buyer. Buyers can request color chips at no charge to assist them in choosing a paint finish.

Melamine Finish for Sorter Shell

(STANDARD) The exterior and interior of the sorter shell can be finished in your choice of twelve stock melamine finishes. All of the stock finishes are priced equally. Buyers can also opt to have the melamine finish color matched to their specifications, however it often results in an up charge and a longer lead-time. The mail sorter's exposed edges will be finished with a PVC commercial tape which will match the melamine finish to provide a finished appearance for the unit.
