AG Communications, a subsidiary of Aspire global, allowed self-excluded gamblers access to gambling products and services. The regulator has found that the company did not stop problem gamblers from accessing gambling products on 13 online gambling sites for which they have a Swedish License.

The Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket) recently reviewed the terms and conditions of the online gambling services offered to customers.

According to report by Calvin Ayre, the consumer watch dog examined 13 licensees namely, AG Communications (Karamba), Bayton Ltd (JackpotCity, Ruby Fortune), Blue Star Planet (10Bet), ComeOn Sweden, Ellmount Gaming (Casinoroom), Genesis Global, Interwetten, MOA Gaming (Mobileautomaten), Pixel Digital (Pixelbet), Smarkets, Svenska Spel, Videoslots and Zecure Gaming (Guts, Rizk) and termed the conditions as ‘unreasonable’.

The agency was of the view that the terms are not often stated clearly and the consumer fails to understand their actual consequences.

The watchdog opined that the language should be made clear in the sense to make the consumers understand that they have the protection of the Swedish law.
