Throughout the summer, Tim Fiorvanti will report on the biggest stories, recap events and recognize all of the gold bracelet winners at the 2018 World Series of Poker in a series of daily dispatches. Check out who to watch for the remainder of the year, with a complete look at the top 10 poker players by net worth so far in 2018: 1) - Justin Bonomo ($24.9 million) Holding the first-place position on the All Time Money List, Justin Bonomo has earned a total of $42,979,591 in lifetime live earnings and a whopping $24.9 million for 2018. Baker has two World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets to his name. The first came in 2012 in the $2,500 8-Game. The second came only a couple of months after his largest-ever score in June 2019. Baker won the $1,500 Limit Hold’em event straight after the $10,000 WPT L.A. That $10,000 event yielded a $1,015,000 top prize. I In recent years, the prize pool for the WSOP Main Event has become so large that the winner instantly becomes one of the top money winners in tournament poker. Jamie Gold (2006) is number eight on that list, Joe Hachem (2005) is number ten, and Peter Eastgate (2008) is number eleven.

After earning 00 status and a licence to kill, Secret Agent James Bond sets out on his first mission as 007. Bond must defeat a private banker funding terrorists in a high-stakes game of poker at Casino Royale, Montenegro.

As 2018 is halfway over and the poker world has already seen several big tournaments come to an end. The World Series of Poker is over, along with several World Poker Tour events, and the like. For poker pros, the goal of every year is to compete in all notorious events, earning BIG paydays along the way. Check out who to watch for the remainder of the year, with a complete look at the top 10 poker players by net worth so far in 2018:

1) - Justin Bonomo ($24.9 million)

Holding the first-place position on the All Time Money List, Justin Bonomo has earned a total of $42,979,591 in lifetime live earnings and a whopping $24.9 million for 2018. The pro competes in major events around the world as well as online, under the name ZeeJustin. Justin’s latest win came in July when he won the $1,000,000 No Limit Hold’em The Big One for One Drop, earning $10m for his efforts. The pro defeated Fedor Holz in heads-up play to earn the win, further securing his spot on the All Time Money List in the top position.

2) - Jason Koon ($11.2 million)

With $22,068,280 in total live earnings, Jason Koon holds the second-place position for earnings this year, with $11.2 million. Jason can often be found traveling the world, taking part in major events such as the World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour. The most recent cash out for the pro came just a few days ago during the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Main Event. Jason finished in fifth place, earning $1,079,433 in the No Limit Hold’em event.

3) - Nikita Bodyakovskiy ($10.4 million)

Known as Mikita online, Nikita Bodyakovskiy is a player that continues to do well in online and land-based game play. With $167,677,901 in total live earnings, Nikita has had a solid year, earning the bulk of that amount in 2018 with $10.4 million in cashouts.Like Jason Koon, Nikita’s most recent cash out comes from the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Main Event. Nikita was able to win the event, earning $5,257,027 after defeating Wai Chan in heads up play.

4) - John Cynn ($8.8 million)

New the All Time Money List, John Cynn has quickly risen in the ranks due to his recent finish during the World Series of Poker Main Event. John has earned $9.7 million in total live earnings with $8.8 million earned this year.The big payday came during the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event, where Cynn was able to outlast the huge field of over 7,800 players to earn the title win. Cynn defeated Tony Miles in heads-up play to claim his first gold bracelet.

5) - Stephen Chidwick ($7.8 million)

The next pro on our list is Stephen Chidwick, a player who has earned $17,909,996 in total live cashouts. For 2018, Stephen has earned $7.8 million, helping to increase his position on the All Time Money List. The pro competes in events around the world including the World Series of Poker, events at the Aria, European Poker Tour and partypoker events.

Stephen’s most recent win took place at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series, in an HK $500,000 No Limit Hold’em 6-Max event. The pro was able to finish in 3rd place, earning $372,828 for his efforts.

6) - Nick Petrangelo ($6.4 million)

Next on the list, Nick Petrangelo has earned over $15 million in total live earnings with $6.4 million generated this year. The poker pro has been busy this year competing in events in Las Vegas as well as in Monte Carlo within the European Poker Tour.His latest cash out came during the World Series of Poker, in Event #77. Nick came close to earning the win but had to settle for a 3rd place finish. For his efforts, Nick was able to win just over $720,000.

7) - Fedor Holz ($6.2 million)

Sitting in 4th place on the All Time Money List, Fedor Holz is one of the best pros in the business right now. Overall, Fedor has earned $32,550,884 in total live earnings. As far as 2018 is concerned, the pro has already earned $6.2 million.The majority of this year’s earnings came from his recent cash out during the World Series of Poker. Fedor competed in several events this year, including the $1,000,000 No Limit Hold’em The Big One for One Drop tournament. The poker pro managed to place second, losing out to Justin Bonomo in heads-up play.

8) - Dan Smith ($5.8 million)

Most of the players on our list sit in the top ten on the All Time Money List, including Dan Smith. Dan is #8 on the list, having earned $25,061,637 in total live cashouts. The poker player has earned $5.8 million this year, which has helped him to climb up the earnings list.The bulk of Dan’s earnings this year came from his most recent cash out during the, you guessed it, World Series of Poker. Dan took part in The Big One for One Drop, earning a 3rd place finish and $4 million. The poker pro finished just under Fedor Holz and Justin Bonomo in the event.

9) - Rainer Kempe ($4.9 million)

Sitting higher on the All Time Money List in 29th place, Rainer Kempe is having a great year. The poker pro has earned $16,524,972 in lifetime earnings and for 2018, has been able to secure $4.9 million in cashouts.Rainer’s latest win took place last month during the World Series of Poker. Taking part in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em 6 Handed Big Blind Ante, Event #74, Rainer earned a 41st place finish, bringing home $16,911. His last major cashout took place in May when he earned just over $227,000 while playing in a High Roller event at the Aria.

10) - Bryn Kenney ($4.5 million)

The last player on our list, Bryn Kenney has earned just over $24 million in total live earnings and currently sits 9th on the All Time Money List. For 2018, Bryn has been able to amass $4.5 million, helping the pro to stay within the top 10 of the list.His latest cashout took place at the $25,000 + $1,000 No Limit Hold’em High Roller at the Aria back in July. Finishing in 4th, Bryn was able to add $65,000 to his overall tournament total.

Poker Players to Watch the Rest of 2018

The main players to watch as the year comes to end definitely include Justin Bonomo, Jason Koon and Nikita Bodyakovskiy. Each of these players have seen a huge increase in earnings this year and show no signs of slowing down. Having already earned eight-figures this year, it will be amazing to see how many more tournaments these pros can take down and what the rest of the year will entail. It is always interesting to find out how much these poker players are worth, as big winners tend to be risk takers and are always fun to watch!Will Bonomo be able to hold on to his top position on the All Time Money List? Or will Holz or Bodyakovskiy be able to earn a big win to take over that top spot? There is still plenty of time for these big name players to take the number one spot.

First the featured event of the day was SCOOP 11-H, the Special Edition Super Tuesday with a guaranteed $1 million in the prize pool.

Al Rash had the write up for this one, won by CEm1994 of the Netherlands for more than $183,000.

In other news, we got the first double winner of SCOOP 2018.

RomeOpro from Ukraine won SCOOP16-H, the $5,200 Turbo High Roller, just days after winning SCOOP 2-H. Those two titles combine for prize money of nearly $260,000.

They're among the overnight winners. A day before that Niall 'Firaldo87' Farrell was doing the same, winning SCOOP 3-H.
